The 14th Open Lecture “Infectious Diseases and Our Health” in Bangkok

R.E.P. cooperated with Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, RIMD, of Osaka University and ASEAN Center of Osaka University to sponsor the 14th session of open lecture series “Infectious Diseases and Our Health” in Bangkok, held on November 23, 2019. This lecture was co-organized by the RIMD and ASEAN Center of Osaka University. In this year’s lecture, the first speaker, Dr. Tomohiko Takasaki, the director of Kanagawa Prefectural Institute of Public Health, gave a talk on recently increasing mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue fever, chikungunya fever, and zika virus disease. The second speaker, Dr. Yoshitaka Isaka, Professor at Osaka University, gave a talk on the latest findings and treatments for chronic kidney disease.
