EDUCATION

The students learning Japanese at the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science and Technology, Thamasat University.

Many Japanese teaching staff instruct Thai students not only in the area of Japanese education in which students have been increasing in numbers, but also in other areas of science and technology in localities of Thailand. However, even the Embassy of Japan in Thailand does not grasp the exact number of those Japanese teachers working at local schools. Many of them working at local schools support their educational activities on their own without any official assistance. The mission of the Research and Education Promotion Foundation (R.E.P.) is to assess what is really going on with those Japanese teachers especially who teach Japanese language in order to prevent potential risk of accidents, support them substantially through JTREP funds, and organise their local life and activities in schools.
