For one week in late August 2024, eight students and one faculty member of Prof. Kono’s seminar course at Faculty of Education, Rikkyo University, visited Thailand and participated in a panel discussion at the international conference hosted by Asia Centre in Bangkok, underwent training and a study trip coordinated by Sikha Asia Foundation in Klong Toey district, Bangkok, and also participated in a study trip to Mae Chan Tai Village, a village of the Akha tribe, a minority hill tribe in northern Thailand, planned and implemented by GIAPS.
