WHAT IS THE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION PROMOTION FOUNDATION (R.E.P.)?
BACKGROUND OF ESTABLISHING THE R.E.P.
Exchanges between Thailand and Japan have a long history. Many Thai and Japanese researchers conduct joint researches and fieldwork in various areas of study in Thailand. Looking at Japanese companies in Thailand, they create job opportunities and contribute to the promotion of local industry while the needs for quality human resources have been rising up in public sectors and local societies. However, the cooperation between those researchers and private companies has yet been well established. Consequently, researchers are running short of funding while public companies, institutions and local societies lack human resources.
MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY
R.E.P. raises funds from private companies, public sectors and other organizations as well as from individuals to create JTREP Fund for the purpose of supporting those Thai and Japanese experts who conduct research and educational activities in Thailand and Japan. By bridging between those experts and private companies, public sectors as well as other organizations and local societies, R.E.P. assists human resource development.
SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP (CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL)
Those companies and individuals who agree to the above mission and philosophy of the R.E.P. are invited to get involved in the supporting membership and pay the annual membership fees, of which regulation is to be dictated separately.
